The Colorado Mountain College School of Business has extended an invitation to business owners and leaders and managers of nonprofit organizations located within the college’s 12,000 square mile district and service area to complete a survey in line.

The results will be used by CMC to build partnerships and provide data for two upcoming Labor Market Summits. The hope is that this will eventually take advantage of internship opportunities for students.

Data from completed surveys will help establish CMC/business partnerships and focus on business needs. According to the CMC School of Business, the survey could eventually lead to internship opportunities for CMC students to work with local businesses, organizations and small businesses, creating learning opportunities by applying what students study at work environments.

The CMC School of Business Needs Survey is available at It should take less than 10 minutes to complete and offers companies a forum to express what is working and what is not working regarding employees, formation and establishment of mutually beneficial business and higher education relationships.

CMC plans to use survey data as a focus for two events this fall. The first 2022 State of the Labor Market Summit at the CMC School of Business will take place at Morgridge Commons in Glenwood Springs on November 7. It will be followed by a second summit on the CMC Leadville campus on November 9th.

Both events will run from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. each day, and the business community is welcome and encouraged to attend. To register for the free November summits, visit
