“So far, we have 75 responses and we aim to collect responses from at least 200 companies,” says Maurane Poirier, Project Assistant at the Labor Market Group. “Whether you’re a small clothing store with one employee or a large manufacturer with hundreds, we want to hear about your experiences and labor needs.”

With support from the Ministry of Labour, Training and Skills Development, EmployerOne survey results are shared with employers, educators, employment support agencies, economic developers, job seekers and industry associations. The information collected through the surveys provides a better understanding of occupational shortages, in-demand skills and professional development requirements that help inform programs and training.
