Melco Resorts & Entertainment held a closing ceremony at City of Dreams Macau on Sunday for its “2021 Guangdong Hong Kong Macau Greater Bay Area Integrated Resort Sustainability Case Study Competition -” Start Young “Hospitality Management Professional Challenge” – a competition co-organized with the University of Macao.

“Start Young” is Macau’s first integrated resort business case study competition exploring the theme of sustainability and introduces Melco’s “Above & Beyond” sustainability strategy to participating students.

Aiming to help them better understand field business operations and identify sustainable optimization solutions through field visits, the program included 22 rounds of site visits and two rounds of virtual seminars on sustainability and ecological tours. More than 330 students from 25 high schools and universities in the Grande Baie region took part in the competition.
